My journey on this beautiful planet started in the small town of Goffstown, NH (USA) where I developed a love for reading at an early age. Most of my memories include playing outside in nature, climbing trees, exploring the woods, brook and many tiny creatures in our neighborhood Or you could find me for hours inside my bedroom lost in many different books of adventure. I dreamed of one day having my own series of adventures!
School was always fun for me as I had a natural talent for academics and breezed through any challenges I encountered. I dabbled in different sports, drama club, honor society and I really enjoyed having friends from all different backgrounds.
I was the first in my family to attend college and I graduated with a BS in Math & Economics from the University of New Hampshire (UNH) in 1992. Not really sure what I wanted to do with my life career-wise (I was raised that we had jobs, not careers) - I took the opportunity in 1995 to move to Orlando, FL to see if I could have some of my own adventures. Back then, leaving the small town & family structure I grew up in was a big deal and this really propelled me to have the courage to face any major challenge that life threw my way. For three years I worked at one of the first Business to Business Telemarketing Companies 'Hancock Information Group' (as a Reports/Data Analyst).
In 1999, my intuition guided me to move to Raleigh, NC where I began a very successful global IT Industry career at Cisco Systems. Within one year, I found myself traveling across the Atlantic Ocean to London, England and Paris, France on business travel for a project I was assigned to. Our time there was short but something new opened up inside me of me that reminded me of the novels of epic adventure I would always read about as a child. I guess you could say this was the start of my own exciting global adventures!
I found I really loved exploring other cultures including the city architecture, historical icons such as the Eiffel Tower and of course the food! (I discovered Chocolate Croissants in Paris and the original Fish and Chips in London, England, yum!)
In 2006, I was nominated for a Leadership Development Program at Cisco which included travels to Amsterdam (The Netherlands), Brussels and Singapore. This allowed me to explore more new places - my favorite was Brussels as they have the best baked goods there, super sweet and delicious! I also had a tour of the 'Anne Frank' House and spent time on a canoe in the canals that run throughout Amsterdam.
Thinking that I would continue on a 'Corporate' path for the rest of my career, I decided to take on a full time MBA program in 2007 (Duke University's Global Executive MBA Program). This program was very exciting to me as it included international travels to fascinating destinations including Istanbul (Turkey), Budapest (Hungary), New Delhi (India), Hong Kong, Rio De Janeiro (Brazil) and Buenos Aires (Argentina).
At the end of the Duke MBA Program in 2008, I felt very lost and confused as I did not discover anything within this MBA program that I would consider to be my 'passion' and I was really looking at that time to combine my passion with my work. Ever since I was about 34 years old, something inside of me was looking for something more than what was showing up for me in this world - today I would call that my 'Soul's Passion and/or Mission' for being here in this lifetime. Lucky for me, Divine Synchronicity (aka 'The Universe') was listening to me and brought me the answers I had been seeking, just in the nick of time.
In late 2008, i began what I now know as my Conscious Awakening - this quest whereby I consciously began to wake up from the dream world and start to question Who Am I? Why Am I Here? Over the course of the next few years, I explored different forms of healing and spirituality including Shamanism (I have a full 'Healing the Light Body Program' Professional Certification from The Four Winds School - this is an intensive, 2-3 year training program involving four weeks of foundational training and three weeks of Masters Training (I actually completed seven weeks of Masters Training) plus a Four Winds Sponsored (via the Founder Alberto Villoldo himself) trip to the Amazon Jungle and to Peru in the Summer of 2011 (we stayed in Cusco and visited many Sacred Sites in and around the area)), Reiki (one weekend of a Beginner Class and one weekend of an Advanced Class) and Theta Healing (one weekend of a Beginner Class, one weekend of an Advanced Class and a LOT of Self-Study and Practice).
In March of 2012, I opened my first Healing Business as a Sole Proprietor under the name Shamans Healing Circle in Raleigh, NC - I had a professional office within a Holistic Clinic called Intestinal Fitness LLC. In the Fall of 2012, my friend Petra Lebeau joined the business as an Independent Contractor with hopes of possibly being a full legal business partner someday. However, in the early Summer of 2013, Shamans Healing Circle hosted a week long event with a Paco from Peru named Don Mariano (and his translator Dennis) whereby we both received Divine Guidance from Don Mariano that our paths would be separating fully for a period of three years to allow for independent growth and development with the probability of coming back together in three years (around 2016). At the time I was surprised by this as we had just formally started working together but since I respected Don Mariano and it also felt right, I started the process of separating Petra from my Shamans Healing Circle business.
In the summer of 2013, I began to 'go within' and to start Trusting My Own Heart and Inner Wisdom. This Journey into My Heart, Soul and Highest Self is the most amazing (and sometimes very challenging) Journey I have ever been on.
As a result of my private teachings with Mother Earth herself as well as The Sun and some other Very Divine Beings, I am now offering my healing services and coaching to others. These teachings and healings are all about getting you in touch with your own inner wisdom so that you may know your Highest Truth about who you are and why you are here.
I look forward to meeting you on this path!
